Jaspers’ support [permanent]

Jaspers is closely involved in every stage of the FAST Danube Project. Jaspers’ representatives attended project events (Teams meetings, bilateral meetings etc.) organized by AFDJ, Halcrow Romania SRL as Consultant or by other competent authority from Romania or Bulgaria. Jaspers’ support considered the evaluation and the provision of recommendations regarding the documents and their essential aspects (preparing the meeting with authorities, NGOs; Feasibility Study (first submission); environmental procedures in Romania & Bulgaria etc.). The FAST Danube project benefited from the valuable advice/support provided by Jaspers during a series of progress/monthly meetings organized at Jaspers’ headquarter from Bucharest. These meeting included on their agenda topics such as:

  • 06.12.2019 – Topics: FAST Danube – Discussions regarding the project progress;
  • 31.01.2020 – Topics: FAST Danube pre-meeting for the workshop in Sofia with NGOs;
  • 10.03.2020 – Topics: Actual status of the project, especially environmental activities;
  • 29.04.2020 – Topics: Progress meeting call with AFDJ Galati;
  • 27.05.2020 – Topics: Feasibility Study (first submission) comments;
  • 01.07.2020 – Topics: Bilateral Bulgarian-Romanian meeting on the project “Improving the navigation conditions on the Romanian-Bulgarian common sector of Danube and complementary studies - FAST DANUBE” – environmental impact assessment procedure;
  • 08.07.2020 – Topics: FAST DANUBE Action (2014-EU-TMC-0297-S) meeting, environmental issues
